How does business coaching work?

Business coaching is a one-on-one partnership built around your specific business challenges. We start by identifying what's keeping you stuck — whether that's cash flow, operations, sales, or team issues. From there, we build a clear action plan with specific steps and timelines. We meet regularly to track progress, make adjustments, and keep you accountable. It's not consulting where someone hands you a report. It's a working relationship focused on real results.

What results can I expect from business coaching?

Most clients see clearer direction and improved decision-making within the first 30 days. By 90 days, many report better cash flow management, stronger sales processes, and less time spent firefighting. Over 6 to 12 months, the bigger shifts happen — increased revenue, a team that operates without constant oversight, and a business that feels like yours again instead of something that owns you.

Do you coach businesses outside Oklahoma City?

Yes. While I'm based in Oklahoma City, I work with small business owners across the country through online coaching sessions via Zoom. Distance has never been a barrier. If you're ready to grow your business with more clarity, structure, and accountability, we can work together wherever you are.

How much does business coaching cost?

Business coaching investment varies based on your needs and how often we meet. I offer flexible packages for different budgets and business stages. For a full breakdown of typical fees, pricing models, and ROI, see my complete guide: https://www.michaeldmorrison.com/mdmarticles/2026/6/30/how-much-does-business-coaching-cost. The best first step is a free consultation where we talk through where you are, where you want to go, and what makes sense for your situation.

How long does business coaching take to show results?

Every business is different, but most clients notice real improvement within the first 30 to 60 days as we get clear on priorities and start executing. Deeper transformation typically takes 6 to 12 months. Business growth is a marathon, not a sprint. The owners who commit to the process are the ones who build something that lasts.
